1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to BotForge ("BotForge", "we", "us", or "our"), available at usebotforge.app. By accessing our website, creating an account, or using our bot hosting infrastructure and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use BotForge. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.

2. Description of Service

BotForge provides a managed cloud platform designed for building, deploying, and hosting automated bots and applications across supported platforms (including WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and custom webhooks).

The Service includes isolated container execution environments, live log streaming, automatic container restarts, GitHub continuous integration, environment variable management, and automated subscription lifecycle processing.

3. Account Registration and Security

  • Account Integrity: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated.
  • Credential Protection: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, session tokens, and passwords.
  • Unauthorized Use: You agree to notify us immediately at support@usebotforge.app if you suspect unauthorized access or security breaches involving your account.

4. Subscription, Billing, and Renewals

BotForge operates on a recurring subscription model billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your selected plan.

Payment Processing: Payments are securely processed via our payment partners (including Paystack). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges for your active tier.

Plan Changes: You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time through the Billing console. Upgrades take effect immediately upon successful payment verification.

Grace Period & Lifecycle: If a recurring payment fails, BotForge provides a grace period before services are temporarily suspended. If an account remains unpaid past the final retention notice, suspended container resources and temporary build artifacts may be permanently decommissioned.

Refund Policy: Due to the instant allocation of dedicated cloud computing and container memory, subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You agree not to use BotForge for any unlawful, abusive, or malicious purpose. Prohibited activities strictly include, without limitation:

  • Deploying malware, ransomware, botnets, cryptominers, port scanners, or malicious payloads.
  • Conducting denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or network disruptions against third parties.
  • Transmitting unsolicited spam, mass phishing campaigns, or fraudulent messages.
  • Violating the developer terms, API policies, and rate limits of third-party messaging services (e.g., Discord Developer Terms, Telegram Bot API Terms, WhatsApp Business Policy).
  • Circumventing allocated container resource thresholds (CPU, RAM, disk quotas) or attempting container escapes.

BotForge reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate any container or account found violating this policy without prior notice.

6. User Content & Intellectual Property

Your Ownership: You retain complete ownership of all source code, bot logic, tokens, configuration files, and data you upload or deploy to BotForge. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your software.

BotForge Property: All rights, title, and interest in and to the BotForge platform, logo, trademarks, web dashboard, and underlying software infrastructure are the exclusive property of BotForge.

7. Service Availability & Maintenance

While we strive for 99.9% uptime and continuous automated health recovery for all provisioned containers, BotForge is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We may occasionally perform emergency or scheduled infrastructure maintenance to ensure system stability, security patching, and performance optimization. Service announcements and real-time status updates are posted on our public Status page.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BotForge and its operators, affiliates, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling active subscriptions through your dashboard. Upon termination, your access to container deployment will cease at the conclusion of your prepaid billing period.

BotForge may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without liability, if you breach any provision of these Terms.
